Skin Cancer caused by fluorescent Light?

a very interesting study I came across recently. The growing rate of melanom since 1955  exactly follows the growing use of fluorescent lamps since then. It does not explain, however the correlation of exposure and occurence of melanomes on rarely exposed parts of the body.
